Office Fit Out for Mott MacDonald.
About the project.
Engineering Consultants Mott MacDonald, whose HQ are in Adelaide, partnered with Boscobel Built to partly refurbish & rework areas of their mezzanine offices at 22 King William Street. This was to temporarily accommodate new staff members ahead of a move to new premises under construction on North Terrace.
The primary objectives of the project were to:
Re-work selected areas including oversized offices and meeting rooms to deliver a greater number of more efficiently sized workspaces.
Cosmetically refurbish high traffic areas such as the staff kitchen, wet areas and break out spaces.
Accommodate a rapidly increasing work force within an already fully utilised floor plate.
Given Mott MacDonald were due to move to a new premises under construction on North Terrace which would not be ready to occupy until the 2nd half of 2023, there was a requirement to deliver on expectations without over capitalising.
-
Demolition of selected self-contained offices, meeting rooms and existing staff kitchen.
Construction of 2 new meeting spaces.
Refurbishment of staff kitchen to provide a larger open plan footprint with adjoining break out / eating area.
Refurbishment of existing meeting rooms.
Creation of a new Wellbeing Room.
Partial refurbishment of existing wet areas.
The project commenced in January 2022 and was completed in March 2022.
Throughout the process all the Staff Members at Mott MacDonald in particular Robi who was our principal point of contact, were a delight to deal with; being responsive, understanding of the process and accommodating, whilst we were on site. We very much hope to work with Mott MacDonald again in the future.
Let’s work together.
